AN ACT AUTHORIZING EMPLOYERS TO ENROLL EMPLOYEES IN
DIRECT PAYCHECK DEPOSIT PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow employers with 1
twenty-five or more employees to automatically enroll their employees 2
into direct paycheck deposit programs and to provide that any such 3
employee may opt-out of such program and elect to be paid by either 4
cash or check. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow employers to control their costs of doing business by
allowing them to automatically enroll their employees into direct
paycheck deposit programs.
