AN ACT INCREASING THE AGE FOR TOBACCO PRODUCT PURCHASES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to raise the 1 minimum age for the purchase of tobacco products to twenty-one 2 years of age. 3 Statement of Purpose: To require tobacco product purchases to be made by those twenty-one years of age or older.
