AN ACT ENHANCING OVERSIGHT OF NONPROFIT COMMUNITY
HOSPITALS BY THE OFFICE OF HEALTH STRATEGY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to enhance oversight of 1
nonprofit community hospitals by the Office of Health Strategy with 2
regard to whether such hospitals are meeting the needs of the 3
communities in which they are located. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To improve and strengthen oversight of nonprofit community
hospitals with regard to community needs.
