AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF LIFE STAR HELICOPTER
SERVICE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require a hospital to call 1
Life Star helicopter service first when a patient requires helicopter 2
transport from one Connecticut health care facility to another 3
Connecticut health care facility. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce fees to patients when helicopter companies located outside
the state are used in lieu of the Life Star helicopter service.
