AN ACT CONCERNING ORGAN DONATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to adopt an opt-out policy on 1
organ donation that enables all state registrants to become organ 2
donors upon their deaths unless they opt out of organ donation. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To adopt an opt-out policy on organ donation and increase the
availability of donated organs.
