AN ACT PROHIBITING THE MARKETING OF OPIOID DRUGS AND
DISTRIBUTION OF SAMPLES OF SUCH DRUGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the (1) marketing 1
of opioid drugs to prescribing practitioners and patients, and (2) 2
provision of any samples of opioid drugs to prescribing practitioners. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the marketing and distribution of samples of opioid drugs.
