AN ACT REQUIRING THE USE OF HELMETS BY MOTORCYCLE
OPERATORS AND PASSENGERS UNDER TWENTY -ONE YEARS OF
AGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 14-289g of the general statutes be amended to require 1
motorcycle operators and passengers under twenty-one years of age, 2
rather than under eighteen years of age, to wear protective headgear. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require the use of helmets by motorcycle operators and passengers
under twenty-one years of age.
