AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL REIMBURSEMENT FOR COSTS
ASSOCIATED WITH CERTAIN NONRESIDENT STUDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 319 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Department of Children and Families to reimburse municipalities for 2
the costs associated with nonresident students the department places 3
in the school districts of such municipalities. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Children and Families to reimburse
municipalities for costs associated with nonresident students the
department places in the school districts of such municipalities.
