AN ACT AUTHORIZING YOUTH SERVICE BUREAUS TO HAVE
ACCESS TO STUDENTS' EDUCATIONAL RECORDS IN CERTAIN
CIRCUMSTANCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 46b-124 be amended to include educational records in 1
the definition of "records of cases of juvenile matters". 2
Statement of Purpose:
To allow youth service bureaus to have access to students' educational
records for the purpose of being able to provide appropriate
intervention services as part of court diversionary programs.
