AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCLUSION OF SCHOOL EMERGENCY 
SITUATIONS AND CRISIS RESPONSE DRILLS IN STUDENTS' 
INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION PROGRAMS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That part V of chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to 1 
require that a student's individualized education program consider 2 
and take into account school emergency situations and crisis response 3 
drills, conducted pursuant to section 10-231 of the general statutes. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To include school emergency situations and crisis response drills in a 
student's IEP in order to accommodate such student's needs during 
emergencies.
