REP. CARPINO, 32nd Dist. REP. BORER, 115th Dist. AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A STATE -WIDE PLAN FOR RESPONDING TO LARGE SCALE SCHOOL CRISIS EVENTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1 Department of Education to develop a state-wide plan for responding 2 to large scale school crisis events and that such plan shall include, but 3 need not be limited to, cooperation with other education and 4 behavioral health agencies, provisions specifying short and long-term 5 interventions for different student populations and identifying 6 funding mechanisms that will minimize discontinuity of services. 7 Statement of Purpose: To require the Department of Education to develop a state-wide plan for responding to large scale school crisis events.
