AN ACT CONCERNING SINGLE-USE, PLASTIC PRODUCTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the distribution of 1
single-use, plastic products including, but not limited to, straws, table 2
ware, trays, bags, drink ware and expanded polystyrene at any 3
concessions or stores that are run in or on state park property. 4
Additionally for any such concession or store that has a current lease 5
agreement, such prohibition shall take full effect by 2022. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit single-use, plastic products.
