AN ACT CONCERNING PLASTIC STRAWS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit full service 1
restaurants from automatically providing customers with single-use, 2
plastic straws while exempting fast-food restaurants. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the use of single-use, plastic straws.
