AN ACT CONCERNING THE PRORATING OF CERTAIN TAXES PAID
BY A BUSINESS ENTITY THAT CLOSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to require certain 1
taxes paid by a business entity that closes be prorated to the date the 2
business entity closes. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require certain taxes paid by a business entity that closes be
prorated to the date the business entity closes.
