AN ACT PROHIBITING HOUSING AUTHORITIES FROM USING
FEDERAL SECTION 8 PROGRAM VOUCHERS FROM DISPLACING
LOW-INCOME RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit housing 1
authorities from promoting the use of federal Section 8 program 2
vouchers to low-income residents for the purpose of enticing such 3
residents to move out of this state. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit housing authorities from promoting the use of federal
Section 8 program vouchers to low-income residents for the purpose of
enticing such residents to move out of this state.
