AN ACT CONCERNING CUSTODY AND CONTROL OF THE
DISPOSITION OF A DECEASED PERSON'S REMAINS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 45a-318 of the general statutes be amended to permit a 1
minor child, if his or her parent or guardian agrees, to claim a deceased 2
parent or guardian's remains. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow a minor child in certain instances to claim a deceased parent
or guardian's remains.
