AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCLUSION OF INSURANCE POLICY
INFORMATION ON CERTAIN CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 8 of the general statutes be amended to require certificates 1
of occupancy issued for new construction to contain information 2
identifying the insurance company or companies that issued a general 3
liability policy or business owners' policy and such policy number or 4
numbers to (1) the company or companies that produced or supplied 5
the concrete used in the foundation of such new construction; (2) the 6
company or companies that poured such foundation; and (3) the 7
quarry that produced or supplied the aggregate used in such concrete. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To require certificates of occupancy issued for new construction to
contain certain information regarding insurance policies carried by
companies involved in the production and pouring of concrete.
