AN ACT PERMITTING MUNICIPALITIES TO FINE OWNERS OF
BLIGHTED PROPERTIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit municipalities to 1
fine the owners of blighted properties that negatively impact 2
surrounding properties or the morale of a neighborhood. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities to fine the owners of blighted properties that
negatively impact surrounding properties or the morale of a
neighborhood.
