AN ACT ELIMINATING THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX ON PENSIONS
FOR CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 12-701 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate 1
the personal income tax on pensions for individuals who are volunteer 2
firemen, volunteer emergency medical services personnel and other 3
volunteer first responders. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the personal income tax on pensions for individuals who
are volunteer firemen, volunteer emergency medical services
personnel and other volunteer first responders.
