AN ACT ALLOWING MUNICIPAL FIRE DEPARTMENTS TO TRAIN
LOCAL FIRE MARSHALS, DEPUTY FIRE MARSHALS AND FIRE
INSPECTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 29-298 of the general statutes be amended to allow 1
municipal fire departments to train local fire marshals, deputy fire 2
marshals and fire inspectors if such departments adhere to state 3
requirements and training procedures. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow municipal fire departments to train local fire marshals,
deputy fire marshals and fire inspectors if such departments adhere to
state requirements and training procedures.
