AN ACT CONCERNING REIMBURSEMENTS TO FIRE COMPANIES FOR CALLS ON CERTAIN HIGHWAYS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require the State Fire 1 Administrator to pay one hundred dollars to each fire company for 2 each call to which such company responds on any limited access 3 highway, the Berlin Turnpike, the South Meadows Expressway and 4 the section of route 8 that falls within the boundaries of Naugatuck 5 State Forest, provided with respect to the Berlin Turnpike, such sum 6 shall be paid only if such call concerns a fire involving a motor vehicle. 7 Statement of Purpose: To require the State Fire Administrator to reimburse fire companies that respond to certain calls.
