AN ACT CONCERNING THE PERFORMANCE OF CERTAIN
INSPECTIONS BY CONTRACTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit municipalities that 1
employ a fire marshal or fire inspector to contract with qualified 2
inspectors for the performance of any portion of an inspection required 3
by state law. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities that employ a fire marshal or fire inspector to
contract with qualified inspectors for the performance of any portion
of an inspection required by state law.
