AN ACT CONCERNING TRANSPORTATION FOR VETERANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner 1
of Transportation, in consultation with certain other commissioners, to 2
develop a program through which any veteran demonstrating 3
financial hardship may apply for a voucher for purposes of securing 4
public transportation to (1) such veteran's place of employment, and 5
(2) any appointment for medical care or services. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To assist veterans in securing public transportation to their places of
employment and to medical appointments.
