AN ACT EXCLUDING TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENTS FROM STATE
EMPLOYEE PENSION CALCULATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit travel 1
reimbursements from being included in the pension calculation for 2
state workers, effective to new state employees upon passage and to all 3
state employees after July 1, 2027. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit travel reimbursements from being included in the
calculation of state pensions.
