AN ACT CONCERNING PORTIONS OF THE STATE BUDGET
APPROPRIATING AID TO MUNICIPALITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the General 1
Assembly to adopt portions of the state budget appropriating aid to 2
municipalities not later than March first in any calendar year. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To give towns the ability to make their budgets knowing what aid they
can expect from the state.
