AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PILOT PROGRAM TO PROVIDE INCENTIVES FOR TEACHERS TO LIVE IN CERTAIN MUNICIPALITIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to establish a pilot program in 1 school districts with the highest populations of low-income students 2 and students of color to provide incentives for teachers, including, but 3 not limited to, teachers of color, that work in such districts to live in 4 the municipalities in which such districts are located. 5 Statement of Purpose: To establish a pilot program to provide incentives for teachers to live in certain municipalities.
