AN ACT CONCERNING SETTING A PROCUREMENT MANDATE FOR
THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN ELECTRICITY GENERATED BY
OFFSHORE WIND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to set a procurement mandate 1
for the purchase of electricity generated by offshore wind that is 2
responsibly developed and uses skilled labor and registered 3
apprenticeship programs. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To set a procurement mandate for the purchase of certain electricity
generated by offshore wind.
