Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require utility companies to 1 provide a discount to residential customers who have certain 2 confirmed and verified chronic medical conditions including, but not 3 limited to, individuals who are on oxygen, that increase utility costs. 4 Statement of Purpose: To require utility companies to provide discounts to certain customers with chronic medical conditions.
