AN ACT PROHIBITING PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANIES AND MOBILE
CARRIER COMPANIES FROM REQUIRING CREDIT CHECKS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit public service 1
companies and mobile carrier companies from requiring credit checks 2
before providing service to residents of the state. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit public service companies and mobile carrier companies
from requiring credit checks.
