AN ACT PROHIBITING THE SALE OF CERTAIN PALM OIL AND TAX
BREAKS FOR CERTAIN PALM OIL PRODUCTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the sale of palm oil 1
in the state that is not certified as sustainable and to prohibit tax breaks 2
for palm oil production that is not sustainable. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To protect rainforests.
