AN ACT REPLACING THE PETROLEUM PRODUCTS GROSS
EARNINGS TAX WITH A PER -GALLON TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to replace the petroleum 1
products gross earnings tax with a tax at the rate of sixteen cents per 2
gallon. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To replace the petroleum products gross earnings tax with a per-gallon
tax.
