AN ACT CONCERNING A PILOT PROGRAM FOR VOLUNTARY
TESTING OF INMATES FOR HIV.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 18 of the general statutes be amended to establish a pilot 1
program for the voluntary testing of inmates for HIV and to provide 2
counseling for such inmates. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To support a relationship between the Department of Correction and
nonprofit organizations to provide counseling and testing to inmates
on a voluntary basis.
