AN ACT CONCERNING THE PRESENCE OF AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL
DEFIBRILLATORS IN ALL BUILDINGS OWNED OR MANAGED BY
THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the installation and 1
maintenance of at least one centrally located automatic external 2
defibrillator in all public buildings owned or managed by the state of 3
Connecticut and that at least one person in any such public building be 4
trained in the proper use of the automatic external defibrillator. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require that all buildings owned or managed by the state of
Connecticut to have at least one centrally located automatic external
defibrillator available in the event of an emergency.
