AN ACT REQUIRING CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR LICENSED HAIR STYLISTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require a hair stylist to 1 complete a certain number of hours of continuing education at a 2 centrally located product manufacturer, hairstyling school or reputable 3 salon in the state approved by the Commissioner of Public Health 4 before being eligible to renew his or her license. 5 Statement of Purpose: To require continuing education for licensed hair stylists.
