AN ACT PERMITTING PHARMACISTS TO PRESCRIBE TOBACCO
CESSATION PRODUCTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit pharmacists to 1
prescribe tobacco cessation products. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To improve public health by permitting pharmacists to prescribe
products to help people quit smoking.
