AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY THE
PREVALENCE OF HEPATITIS C IN CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS
AND FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That a task force be established to study the prevalence of inmates 1
with the hepatitis C virus in correctional institutions and facilities and 2
the feasibility of treating inmates for the hepatitis C virus. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a plan for the treatment of inmates with the hepatitis C
virus.
