AN ACT REQUIRING SPRINKLER SYSTEMS IN NEWLY
CONSTRUCTED TOWNHOUSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 29-292 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
installation of sprinkler systems in newly constructed townhouses. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To improve fire safety by requiring sprinkler systems in newly
constructed townhouses.
