AN ACT CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF PARKING CITATIONS BY
PRIVATE COMMERCIAL PROPERTY OWNERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (d) of section 14-145 of the general statutes be 1
amended to prohibit the owner or lessee of private commercial 2
property, rather than the owner or lessee of private property, from 3
issuing parking citations to impose a monetary sanction on an owner 4
of a motor vehicle parked on the private commercial property. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the owner or lessee of private commercial property from
issuing parking citations to impose a monetary sanction on an owner
of a motor vehicle parked on the private commercial property.
