AN ACT CONCERNING TRANSFERS AND CONVEYANCES OF
BROWNFIELDS DESIGNATED AS SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 32-773 of the general statutes be amended to provide 1
that, if a municipality transfers and conveys real property designated 2
as a special taxing district to a Connecticut brownfield land bank, the 3
municipality transfers and conveys title to and interest in the real 4
property, but does not transfer assets and debts backed by the full faith 5
and credit of the special taxing district. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To adopt specific language regarding transfer and conveyance of
brownfields designated as special taxing districts.
