AN ACT REQUIRING HOMEOWNER NOTIFICATION OF VEGETATION
MANAGEMENT BY UTILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require utilities to provide 1
notice to homeowners of vegetation management and tree-removal 2
activities. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a clear process for notification of homeowners before
utilities remove trees and vegetation.
