AN ACT CONCERNING THE TAX TREATMENT OF TOBACCO
PRODUCTS THAT ARE EXPORTED FROM THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subdivision (2) of subsection (b) of section 12-330c of the 1
general statutes be amended to expand the tax treatment afforded to 2
cigars under the provisions of said subdivision to all tobacco products, 3
exclusive of cigarettes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To establish parity in the tax treatment of tobacco products.
