AN ACT REQUIRING EMPLOYERS TO REPORT INDEPENDENT
CONTRACTORS TO THE STATE DIRECTORY OF NEW HIRES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 31-254 of the general statutes be amended to require 1
employers to report new hires, full-time and part-time employees, and 2
independent contractors used by such employers to the state directory 3
of new hires. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To expand access to information to aid in the creation and enforcement
of child support orders.
