AN ACT REQUIRING THE AVAILABILITY OF OPIOID ANTAGONISTS
AT INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require institutions of 1
higher education to be equipped with naloxone hydrochloride or any 2
other opioid antagonist approved by the federal Food and Drug 3
Administration for the treatment or prevention of an opioid-related 4
drug overdose on campus. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To equip institutions of higher education for the treatment or
prevention of opioid-related drug overdoses on campus.
