AN ACT CONCERNING STATE PENSION LIABILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the separate 1
accounting of legacy unfunded pension obligations and to require that 2
the state pursue an extended and attenuated funding schedule for such 3
liabilities. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To increase disclosure of state pension liabilities and extend the
payment schedule for unfunded pension liabilities in order to reduce
the burden on taxpayers posed by such liabilities.
