AN ACT PROVIDING FOR FULL FUNDING OF STATE PAYMENTS IN
LIEU OF TAXES FOR COLLEGES AND HOSPITALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to reimburse municipalities 1
one hundred per cent of the cost for state-mandated property tax 2
exemptions for colleges and hospitals under payment-in-lieu-of-taxes 3
programs. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide municipalities with full payments in lieu of taxes for
colleges and hospitals.
