AN ACT EXCLUDING MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE
CALCULATION OF RETIREMENT INCOME FOR LEGISLATORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to exclude reimbursements 1
received by legislators for mileage from the calculations of base salary 2
for purposes of determining legislators' retirement income. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To exclude mileage reimbursement from the calculation of legislators'
pensions.
