AN ACT ESTABLISHING A FUND TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE TO BUSINESSES TRANSITIONING TO EMPLOYEE -
OWNED BUSINESSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a fund from which 1
the Department of Economic and Community Development may 2
provide grants of ten thousand dollars or less, to be repaid with ten 3
per cent interest, to businesses transitioning to employee-owned 4
businesses. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a fund to assist businesses in transitioning to employee-
owned businesses.
