AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to expand the health 1 curriculum for public schools by requiring that at least twenty class 2 periods be offered in grades six, eight, ten and twelve, and requiring 3 that the health curriculum be evaluated and modified to add 4 instruction relating to the dangers of vaping, the basic terminology of 5 health insurance and the impact of social behaviors on mental health. 6 Statement of Purpose: To expand the public school health curriculum.
