AN ACT CONCERNING INCENTIVES IN THE SCHOOL BUILDING
PROJECT GRANT PROGRAM FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF GREEN
SCHOOL FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-285a of the general statutes be amended to provide 1
an incentive in the percentage of school building project grant money 2
that a local or regional board of education is eligible to receive for the 3
construction of green school buildings and facilities that are 4
environmentally sound and sustainable. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To foster a green economy and combat climate change by providing
incentives in the school building project grant program for the
construction of green school facilities.
