AN ACT INCREASING OCCUPANCY TAX DEPOSITS INTO THE
TOURISM FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to increase the 1
amount of the occupancy tax deposited into the Tourism Fund from 2
ten per cent to twenty per cent. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure support for tourism, one of the most important economic
drivers for our state.
